Lisa Anchin is a New York based illustrator who dabbles in the absurd and toys with the ridiculous. She is rather fond of both hogwash and nonsense, and she is easily recognizable by the blue paint streak on her eyebrow, the smudgy ink on her fingers, and the unruly mass of red hair that threatens to attack anyone who gets too close. Lisa recently graduated with her MFA from the School of Visual Arts' Illustration as Visual Essay program. She is often holed up in her studio stringing words together and compulsively doodling, but she can also be found haunting one of the many cafes of the five boroughs, sitting with a bucket of tea, scribbling in a sketchbook, and wearing a ridiculous hat.
